Terrazzo Floor Cleaning Pitchcott HP22
The process for terrazzo cleaning entails a wet polishing system that leaves a clean smooth surface creating no dust.
Terracotta floor cleaning
Terrcotta floors are known for there rustic charms and warm tones, they have been around for many centuries and are formed of fired clay, they are known for there strength and durability but they are very porous and require
sealing to stop dirt and stains entering the pours of the stone. Colours and textures vary from sumptuous rich oranges, reds, browns to mellow honey tones. We find that the terracotta floors and grout lines have become dirty and the floor has lost its lustre and shine due to incorrect cleaning processes, often wax seals wear and make the floor look very worn and tired.
Terracotta cleaning process
The cleaning process we use depends on the condition of the floor, some floors will still have there wax coats intact and require a good deep clean. This
usually involves deep cleaning the tiles and grout lines, allowing the floor to dry for a week before returning and applying new wax coats. If the seals have been worn away then the floor will require a full strip of the existing wax coats and new wax coats applied.
